Jordi Sierra i Fabra and Joan Manuel Gisbert are two of my favourite spanish authors.


Jordi Sierra i Fabra is an author that writes different things. All his books are different.If you read two of them, you will notice they are different... except two books that are very similar called "The murder of the maths teacher" and "The murder of the lenguage teacher" They are great!!

They are about three children that don´t study. His teacher give them another oportunity, but ... How?

Joan Manuel Gisbert is very imaginative. My favourite books by him are"The mystery of Tokland island" "Escenarios Fantásticos"(I don´t know how we say in English) and "The arquitect and the Arabia´s emperator"

They are really good!!!

23-10-2010.My last weekend.

On October 23, that is to say last saturday, I went to Arturo´s house. First we played Marron´s butterfly effect. It was great !!! We broke the game at least FIVE times!!! Then Arturo´s mother came and she cooked our lunch.We ate macaroni bolognese ... Yummy, yummy. After we had lunch we wanted to play a game but we couldn´t because in order to play that game we needed to open a bottle and we couldn´t opened it. So we waited for Arturo´s father that it was taking a nap (because he could open the bottle) playing Stratego, that is a game where you have to think in order to win the game. Arturo wan... snif ! Then we had snack. Milk and a special kind of biscuits.So that is what I did on my last weekend!!!

One of my favorite authors is Roald Dahl.In all the books he has written, all his imagination and all his fantasy make texts funny and easy to read.I have said all his books, but It´s not true." Boy, tales of the childhood" ("Boy relatos de la infancia") tell us, as you can see, about his childhood, but not invented, his real childhood.This is one of my favourite books by him.I love "Matilda"," Charlie and the chocolate factory","The Witches", "The enormous crocodile" and "Esio Trot" too.






I want to read "Danny the champion of the world".I haven´t read it yet.


DID YOU KNOW...?

Did you know Roald Dahl had to re-write "Charlie and the chocolate factory" ?First he wrote it with FIFTEEN children as characthers, but his nephew read it and said it was boring.Then he cut down to just FIVE children.

Did you know has written books for adults ?For example "Tales of the Unexpected"

As you can see I love magic, magicians and things related to it.I have been in many summer camps and in many of them we had to do something like a show and I always do magic tricks.Last Cristmas I got a box with magic tricks and a book with more tricks.It said that it´s for professionals.I have another book too called "La invención de Hugo Cabret" about Georges Meliés that it was " a cinema magician" .First it was a very famous magician but then he turned to cinema.This story tell us more less Georges Meliés´s life, of couse invented,and I think It´s great !!!You are lucky if you can read it!!!
Many people think that a magician always do his tricks with cards or with a top hat, you can think I´m mad but with just a napkin , with a coin or with a cardboard you can do lots of tricks, maybe more than with cards...



So, if you have any doubt about magicians or magic, don´t think it twice and ask me!!!
